OUR APPROACH INFUSES INTERCULTURAL AND GLOBAL EXPERIENCES AND LEARNING INTO EVERY CORNER OF CAMPUS, AND WE EXTEND THOSE ELEMENTS INTO OUR 18 DICKINSON-IN PROGRAMS ABROAD.
Dickinson offers study-abroad options in 24 countries including 18 Dickinson-run global programs, 30+ partner programs, Global Mosaics, summer offerings and winter and spring break trips tied to semesterlong and yearlong courses. Dickinson students represent 49 foreign countries and 14% of the student body is international. So it’s common to hear multiple languages spoken around campus, and there are a wealth of international clubs and organizations to further enhance our globally-focused majors, all helping to infuse a global perspective into everything we do.
We offer 18 GLOBAL PROGRAMS in 15 countries, established and entirely run by Dickinson, led by our faculty members, and located outside of major tourist centers to ensure our students have the most useful and immersive experience possible.
Dickinson serves as the home of the Forum on Education Abroad, a non-profit national membership organization recognized by the U.S. government as the only official Standards Development Organization for the field of education abroad. Following a lengthy review, The Forum on Education Abroad noted that Dickinson’s Center for Global Study & Engagement is to be congratulated on its ongoing efforts to not only implement current best practices but also to look ahead and maintain its valuable model in light of future trends.
