Carr's Compendiums: System Requirements (Minimum)

The following system requirements are based on the minimum system requirements needed to run a Carr's Compendium compatible browser.

Windows

• Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000, or Windows XP.
• Intel Pentium class processor. 233 MHz or faster recommended.
• 64 MB or more of RAM.
• CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
• One of the following compatible browsers:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.
  • Mozilla 1.0 or higher.
  • Mozilla Firebird 0.6
  • Netscape 7.0 or higher.

Macintosh

• Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X.
• PowerPC processor.
• 64 MB or more of RAM (128 MB for OS X).
• CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
• One of the following compatible browsers:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.1 or higher.
  • Mozilla 1.0 or higher.
  • Netscape 7.0 or higher.

Linux

• Distribution and libraries necessary for running Mozilla 1.2 or higher.
• Mozilla 1.2 or higher.
• 64 MB or more of RAM.
• CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.

Recommended for all Systems

• Connection to the internet.
• Printer
• Display adapter and monitor capable of displaying screen areas of 1024x768 or more and 16 bit color or higher.
• Mouse with scroll button.
• Software capable of viewing Adobe Acrobat .PDF files.
